A new academic year is upon us and I thought it will be a good idea to write a small post about a very useful tool called RefME.
As a student, referencing your material is crucial. So here is a quick break down of the most important points of this application:
- supports Harvard referencing style among others
- you can create projects and manage your references within that project
- you can collaborate in a project with fellow students
- chrome extension to add references as you browse the web
- you can use your phone camera to scan journals or books barcodes
- works with Word, Mendeley, Endnote, Refworks … to name a few
- you can use it for books, webpages, videos, journals and others
- mobile apps for apple and android devices (windows coming soon)
- and of course is syncing your account across multiple devices
- did I mention RefME is free?
For more information have a look at RefME website: https://www.refme.com/i/b/.
Good luck in the new academic year!
